Event hours: Saturday 10 AM-5PM, Sunday 10 AM-4 PM

Cost: Adult-$7, Children-$3.00; under 3 free

(gate fee/event time exceptions are noted)

Annual membership/pass $35 family/$25 single

Feb 25 & 26 Pancake & Maple Syrup

Brunch

Try our homemade maple syrup with pancakes, sausage,

coffee, milk and hot chocolate.  Hours: 9 AM – 2 PM

Daily Tours of the Sugar Camp 10 AM – 1 PM

 

April 21 Habitat for History

Sat is a work day on all of the cabins and buildings doing

structure renovation.  We will assign work groups to each

building to do whatever needs to be done to that cabin –

painting, chinking, replace flooring, logs, roofing etc.  Free

camping on grounds night before.  Breakfast lunch and

May 19 & 20 Spring Gathering &

Rendezvous

There will be plenty of food, drink and merriment for you to

enjoy as you browse through the cabins, traders &

craftsmen that set up shop for the weekend.

June 15 – 17 OlTyme Music Festival

Enjoy sounds of the past:  hammered dulcimers, banjos

and guitars while touring a Village brought to life by

historical re-enactors.  Visit 3 music stages and many

porches.  Bring your own instrument and join in! Hours: Fri:

5 PM-10PM; Sat: 10AM – 10PM; Sun: 10 AM-4PM

 

July 14 & 15      Gospel Festival

Enjoy your favorite Gospel Music by several local

musicians.  Bring your own chair if you like.

Join our Native American members as they celebrate their

September 28 – 30 Civil War

Encampment

Remembering the CW 150 years ago

Learn about the life of a soldier during the Civil War.

Groups of re-enacting soldiers representing infantry,

artillery and cavalry units from several states will be

camped.  Battles each afternoon, a ladies tea,

demonstrations, evening dress ball.  Special events for

Every Thursday in October   Ghost Walk

October 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th

Start with a candlelight dinner and share your personal

ghost stories.  Then go on a guided tour of our “haunted”

buildings.  6-9PM.  $30 per person – no one under 16.

Limited # per evening.  RSVP required.  937-269-7237

 

October 20th & 21st   Harvest Festival

Come celebrate a harvest as it was done in 1800.  The Village will

be preparing for winter.  Several demonstrations.  A harvest

to remember!  Enjoy some cider, while viewing days from

the past.  Bring a bag of individually wrapped Treat Candy

and free gate admission for one.

 

October 27th  Pioneer Trick – Or – Treat

Dress up the family for a fun time!  We do no “tricks” only

treats”.  Children may “treat” at the open cabins and

Participate in the children activities going on.

FREE admission.  Hours 3 – 6 PM.

 

November 3rd & 4th  Fall Gathering Rendezvous

Come visit a camp from the past and tour through the

cabins as re-enactors relive the life and times of the early

1800s in OH.  Call Andy 513-833-4425

 

December 1         Candlelight Walk

Celebrating Christmas in the early 1800s is different than it

is today.   Come see how we prepare for the holidays at the

village.  Tour the Village by candlelight and enjoy the hearth

heated cider and hot chocolate.  Dress warm!

Directions from Dayton Take I-75 South to State

Route 73 East.  Follow State Route 73 through

Waynesville.  Turn right, south, onto Clarksville Road.

Follow signs to Village.

 

Directions from Cincinnati Take I-71 north to exit

36; turn right on Wilmington road, left on Olive Branch

Rd; straight on Murray Rd; right on Oregonia Rd;

follow signs.
