Caesar's Creek Pioneer Village

Introduction:

Welcome to the Website for the Pioneer Village. Our website is still going through a few growing pains so it is possible you will find some sections a little short on information. Rest assured though we are working hard to get every section updated and get as much information as you could possibly want on the website. We are going to be putting a lot of information about the History of the Village and you will be able to see how we have grown over the years also. If you have comments, questions or kudos, feel free to drop us a line.

Upcoming Events:

War Between the States

Dates: September 24th - 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

September 25th - 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

Watch as the battle unfolds before your very eyes as brothers, cousins, uncles, and friends take sides to stand up for what they believe.

The kids will love seeing History come to life as the battle still rages on at the Village. All participants will be in authentic gear and will be re-enacting battles and transporting you back to the Civil War.

There will be guns firing (no live ammunition) so everyone be prepared for a very active village. As the event gets closer we will publish schedules and have them available at the gate so everyone will know what is going on.

If you are interested in being part of the re-enactment, please send an email to the Village for more information or contact us through our Facebook page.

For everyone who will be a re-enactor, we do have a registration form which they can downloaded on the Pioneer Village's Website.

Admission: $ 5.00

Our ghosts and goblins will welcome you with open arms as you stalk their realm after the moon comes out. They are always looking for new souls to add to the grounds and are eager to see you there. Don't worry, we have plenty of fresh coffins waiting.....

For this rare opportunity to see the Village after dark and what usually remains in the shadows, we are only asking $10 per person with all of the proceeds going back to keeping our ghouls contained on the grounds by preserving their favorite haunt.

Admission: $10 per person

Harvest Festival & Fall Gathering

Dates: October 15th - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

October 16th - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Celebrate the harvest as the village is preparing for winter. Take part in the activities of the early 1800's.

Share in our annual event as the Village members all prepare for the coming winter. Learn about how the Pioneers would prepare their cabins and their food storages for the coming winter months. This would be a period of everyone coming together and sharing their resources and also a great opportunity for traders to come through selling their wares.

We will have demonstrations showing Pioneer life and you can learn from our Village members all of the different things which they would have to do in order to be prepared for the Winter months in Ohio. We will also be doing staining of clothes using the Walnuts from around the Village.

If you have never been to the Village during the Fall months it is truly a total transformation as the days and nights start to turn cooler and the leaves fall off of the trees. The Village is truly a totally different experience during every season as you get to see it in a completely different light.

Admission: $5 per person (Bring a bag of individually wrapped Treat candy and get Free admission for one)
